Looking for Mastering Engineer to master for upcoming record label.

Starting a record label, called Melonhead Records, and I need a Mastering Engineer to work on some tracks.
Its main goal is to help upcoming EDM artists make it big.
While I can't directly pay you (at least not yet) it would be a good chance to improve your trade and meet some talented producers. You may also be able to work out a small fee with some of the producers.

If your interested in mastering tracks for us, or have questions or anything, don't hesitate to send an email to sir.fernandezzz(at)gmail(dot)com.

Thanks!

There is a guy in L.A. named Maor Appelbaum. He's fantastic. Real down to earth guy and knows his way around some gear.

if you don't have the money to pay for a mastering engineer, then you don't have the money to properly promote any recording, in which case, I'd say wait until you do

I'd he highly suspicious of a "record label' that couldn't afford to pay for a mastering engineer. Just my 2 cents.... though I'm well aware of the high costs of a startup business as well, especially in this field of work!

Good luck on your endeavors, and might I suggest you can always give the M.E. a "point" on the record for payment? Every sale will give him a small slice with no "up front" costs to your business..... might be worth it?

I hope that the new label has a good "game plan", the old business model of giant record labels isn't getting any bigger, so make sure you DO pay for I.T. guys and tech people that are going to be strictly dedicated keeping AHEAD (key word) of the curve on these things for sales/promotions/advertising/etc, it'll go a long way for a long term financially stable business.
