Thread Starter | Eng. Needed, podcast sound development.
Need help developing "our sound" for an internet broadcast (podcast). I am not an audio engineer or producer and don't really plan on trying to be but I want to get a good baseline sound for our upcoming podcast. I have purchased and built the studio but need help with the post processing. The podcast has two voices, one male, one female. We want to have a professional radio sound that isn't fatiguing since the show will be an hour+ in length. Here is our current setup: 1 Shure SM7b 1 Rode Procaster Presonus FireStudio Project interface Adobe Audition (latest version) Running on a newish Macbook Pro I have also built a pretty nice room with 6, 2'x4' acoustic panels (rock wool). What I would love is for someone to take my raw recording and setup a "template" with compression/limiting/gate etc ... in Audition for each voice so that in future episodes it will be easy apply those effects to the recording. If this is something you would be willing to help with please email me a estimate on what you would charge and we can go from there. Hopefully this won't take long for an experienced pro, don't have a huge budget. Also, please don't respond unless you know what you are doing and have experience in broadcast/radio/voice over work, would hate to waste my time and yours! I can provide audio clips of a close representation of "the sound" we want. my email: pixelkicker _at_ gmail _dot_ com THANKS!! |
