Mastering Opportunity

Hey all!

I've been a fan of this forum for years, but haven't really had the need to post up until this point. First off, this place is great!! I thank anyone I have absorbed bits of information from.

Back to the issue at hand. I have a duo that has recorded bedroom demos for a few years and recently we've almost finished our full length. To warn you guys: We are on a VERY TIGHT timeframe. We'll be finished with mixing by the end of July, and we have a short tour scheduled for August 12th on. That gives us about a week and a half to master and press....YIKES

I'm fairly confident in my ability to mix, but to step into mastering territory would be another ballpark obviously. I may have to do it myself, but I was just going to double check and see if anyone around here could do it for DIRT CHEAP. I mean like 3-400 cheap. For 12 songs...

That being said, to give and example of mastering jobs I've enjoyed in the past, National Anthem of Nowhere by Apostle of Hustle comes to mind. It's very lush (mostly from the instrumentation), but the color of compression really helps it along. Also The Letting Go by Bonnie Prince Billy is such a great record! I like it for the same reasons, and then some.

I can't really let out what we're doing right now, but you can find our past recordings at The John Barry Conception

I will say that those 2 releases were LEARNING EXPERIENCES. So don't hold the empty mixes and very strange sounds against me. But then again, we're all learning so I thought I might spit the offer out.

So, to summarize, I'm looking for someone who has interest in that type of music, that could help it along, for way too little, and not smash it to bits unless it sounds good like that, and to do something that I couldn't whip out with my limited experience mastering.
TALL ORDER I KNOW.

Thank you all regardless of whether or not this comes to fruition or not!

Tracks I would recommend paying attention to:

Far and Few from "Dominic's Birthday"
Red from "THiNGs"
The Man with the Moon from "THiNGs"
Rein de Marche from "THiNGs"
