Not that that isn't a great suggestion... but coming from you, I wonder: are you trying to make up with Brian over your previous disagreements, or somehow trying to troll neokmin? I can't tell...

I don't disagree. I'm just surprised at the recommendation coming from you after your strong critique and fierce disapproval of methods that Brian enthusiastically uses and promotes. No idea how you make those two things fit... hence I thought your suggestion might not be sincere.

Anyway, apologies for bringing up irrelevant stuff. Carry on

oh no problem..just edit your posts of all the irrelevant stuff!

Oh and maybe you have a good mastering suggestion for the OP...as you seem to be discouraging him going to Brian for some reason.

I personally think Brian would be perfect...but of course it is up to the OP...he has some good choices.

PS I am a proponent of ITB mastering, Brian is not...I haven't met two engineers that agree on how to install a light bulb let alone how to master something...healthy philisophical disagreements are par for the course.

For the third time now, Stewart, I'm sure Brian Lucey is a great suggestion.

I'm referring to you saying (in direct reply to Lucey) that converter clipping is "lazy", that "nothing musical ever comes from it", that there's no excuse for it, and that you dislike the sound of it.

If you enjoy Brian's masters, I put it to you that quite obviously, you don't really feel that way.

Of course. But the contrast between your strong and ploemic stand against clipping and then recommending someone who does just that routinely makes it hard to take either statement seriously.

So, for some consistency/accountability: Which one is it? Does clipping always sound horrible to you, or do Brian Lucey's masters sound great?

If you are in Norway dude why you don't get some one close by, I bet you there are tons of mastering room's surround you, why you have to ask someone do some research.

If Bob Katz posted that he likes the sound of Metallica's Death Magnetic, wouldn't you enquire how that fits with his previous opinions?

Anyway, I find it hard to believe that you really see something wrong with that, okidoki/ed/editronmaximum/editronmegatron/whatever. You make a sport of fiercely objecting to far lesser inconsistencies; and you don't manage (or even try) to stay civil. Calling OCD on someone else is another gem, surely you realize you're projecting (seeing you keep re-registering every time you get banned for abuse, just so you can insult the same people you disagree with / don't like, over and over again).

So forgive me if I don't take the criticism too seriously. If you do mean any of it seriously (ever), please give me a call, write me a mail, or send me a letter - anything that isn't non-consequential, anonymous internet trolling - and I'll be happy to do my best to answer to your criticism.

Yes, sure, i know. But its cool .. or ehh .. exciting (i think) to try something new. Why not look outside the boarders of Norway ? Norway is also quite expensive country .. in general.

Ok, lets see then. Need to finish the mix first
