Thread Starter | Advice in sterling sound
I am looking for a really great mastering enginieer to do the master of a record that I mixed. I like to know the opinion about chris geringer or tom coyne(both from sterling sound)?? The music is R&B, pop! . Both of them do a great job in this kind of music! But somebody worked with them? Some opinion??? Cheers |

I've worked with Chris several times. He knows how to keep the punch and maintain competitive levels. The masters he's done for me have a way of popping out of consumer speakers that is perfect for pop productions. Also just a good dude to work with if you have the chance to attend the session.

...And I've worked with Tom and he's great. Can do "loud" without losing the impact or punch. Tends towards bright, in a good, expensive-sounding way. Definitely elevated the mixes.
