looking for mastering engineer electro/pop disco house.

Hi I'm looking for a mastering engineer for a track, it's basically pop but with as I mentioned a disco house type groove, so someone with experience and an ear for this kind of style would be welcome. I'm looking for an experienced professional with credentials, room and analogue gear. It's not a slamming dance track so essentially not looking to get it slammed! It's more terrace at sundown in Ibiza. Warm, sexy etc. If this is up your alley, let me know either by pm or just below. Alternatively if you can think of anyone appropriate for this kind of work please also let me know. Thanks.

Have you tried Optimum Mastering in Bristol, or maybe Abbey Road. Abbey Road does online mastering for £90 per track. I would do it myself, but I dont have that much experience, nor analogue gear :-(

If you're not signed, Metropolis can do it online for £50.

The Abbey Road online mastering for £90 is a bit misleading. You have to have it delivered in a format (obviously!), the one you get varies with price, but they all cost extra!

..............looking at various places...............it's a hassle being in Scotland as all the decent mastering studios are in London, I'm a little sceptical of those bigger places offering online mastering services I recently used one of them, I'm not going to mention where but they are right at the top of the food chain, on the first occaison the master came back pretty good, the second time.....I was a for some reason a little uneasy about the whole process....they bill you for half an hour and in that time they have to presumably bring up your track and listen, then maybe listen to the ruff master, master your track and mix it down.....doesn't really leave much time to actually master, anyway despite my misgivings I sent it off to the same engineer as I had chosen the previous time, extremely highly regarded, and when it came back it was an utter joke!It honestly sounded like he had spent about five minutes on, or in fact they had given it to the tea boy to do, the mix engineer was horrified when I sent him a copy. Once I complained however it came back how I wanted it......but it kind of makes me feel like perhaps the online service at some of the bigger houses might be in some cases less ideal than being there in person plus it seems like a bit of an assembly line. Hence I'm looking for alternatives, someone who really cares about their work. I spent a lot of time with the mix engineer getting it just how I want it, as well as the whole writing/recording process, so naturally I want only the best for it.

Send it to Tim Turan in Oxford.

£40-50 a track, really cares about it, award winning mastering engineer without all the snobbery of the big places.

That'd definitely be my choice.
