Thread Starter | No "mixing" forum? anyway,
I've pretty much given up on trying to do professional master quality recording at home. Nothing I do seems to be good enough for "broadcast quality" required for tv/film or commercial use so I'm looking for an online mixing service. I didn't say mastering since I don't want mastering as a sideline. I'd rather used a separate mastering service with fresh ears rather than a jack of all trades type setup. Is it really necessary to spend $700 to $1200 for services like studiopros recommended by a&r service taxi? (Studio Pros + Taxi = 90% Better Chances for Song Placements | Studio Pros). That whole deal makes me uncomfortable somehow but that's just me. Just feels almost like if you don't get your music done with these guys you won't get forwarded but that's another conversation. I want to get my finished composition or song recording to be good enough for almost anything I submit it short of commercial master for but most likely tv/film/libraries etc. |
