Hi! i've got an album ready to get mastered and for my first post in here i would like to ask if you woud have a good mastering engineer to recommend ![]() Sound: indie/rock/pop/electro... As a ref, I'd say MGMT, Architecture in Helsinki, Vampire Weekend, Blur, Broken Bells, Beck. If my sound is a painting, its a vibrant Picasso rather than a super clean-cut Renaissance painting. The brush strokes are visible, but it aint a "mistake", its character If my sound is a movie, it has a unique look like a Soderberg movie, rather than a generic clean-cut look like a Hollywoodian blockbuster. It's raw, vibrant, creative but also melodic and listenable. Hope Im making any sense Not a must would be cool if the ME would located in LA, where i currently am, but could also be NYC or Montreal. Not that I believe it is a good thing to attend and disturb the session, but mainly because I believe a face to face meeting beforehand is very good to make sure we got each other ![]() So well, Im impatiently waiting for your suggestions! Thanx a lot! Benoit |
