Thread Starter | Need ME recommendations for Electronic Music album
Hi, I'd appreciate if you could suggest some ME's for my 10 track album. It's instrumental electronic music (with bits of vocals here and there), with some ambient-ish/triphop-ish/rock-ish/dance-ish elements ( ). You can listen to some bits here : user98 What i'm looking for is not crazy amounts of loudness (anybody with a couple of plugins can give that) , but good tonal balance between the tracks to give a coherent world, and an overall "warm" sound , with some energy to it. Now, the story is that i already had this album mastered by a well known (and quite expensive) UK mastering engineer (don't ask for name..), but i've been quite unhappy with the results. He went with a second revision , and apart from a couple of tracks, it sounded even worse this time. At this point, i've been thinking either attempting to master it myself ( and i really don't want to ) or trying somebody else. My budget is not big this time , and i'm also wondering if it's a good idea to only have one or two tracks mastered first before commiting the whole album, to avoid losing money and time.. Thanks.
