Can someone reccomend good metal masterer

Anyone know any good names in the mastering biz. Prefferably someone who has mastered some bigger names, with a good rep themselves. Someone who is used to styles like manson, godsmack, korn, dream theater etc...

Thanks

Just wanted to say I like the word "masterer".

Example:

"What do you do for a living"

"I'm a masterer"

Can anything outside of Ninja really beat that?

All good, just messing around.

I know Randy Merrill at masterdisk has worked on some metal type stuff in the past. Probably not what he is known for but he's a killer mastering engineer and could certainly deliver you a great sounding master.

If it was me I would go with Ed Littman or John Scripp. They might not be "big names" but the metal oriented stuff I've heard them do has been pretty rockin' - and the price would be super reasonable relative to the "big names."

Best regards,

I like the German "Tonmeister" way better. Said while wearing a monocle of course.

It's funny -when I first saw the thread title I thought they were looking a place that did Direct Metal Mastering. Got copper on my brain I guess.
