There are a few really good mastering engineers in LA.
Let's see....
Dave Collins Mastering
Brian Gardner (Grundmans)
Bernie Grundman (Grundmans)
Louie (Stephen Marcussen Mastering)

Any of those guys would be a good place to start!

I recently had an AWESOME experience mastering with Eddy Schreyer at Oasis Mastering. Super cool guys.

For vox w/orchestral stuff, have you looked at DOUG SAX? I imagine he would also be fantastic.
