BEFORE EVERYONE GOES DOWNLOADING THIS:

If you find it as irritating as I do, (A) this "first post" in on more than just GearSlutz. I'm not sure how much free work this guy wants. And (B) IT'S RAW TRACKS - He's not looking for mastering - He's looking for MIXING.**

** Allegedly - From what I've seen on other forums.

Correct, he needs a mixing engineer, not a mastering engineer. Though he didn't say anything about doing it for free.
Some things I should point out to the original poster, there's some major DC offset to these files, meaning there's something seriously wrong with your recording rig. Also, the singer is WAY WAY WAY too close to the mic. It can be "fixed" but it can't be great without redoing the vocals with the mic further away and without all that nasty processing on it. The Acoustic guitar needs some new strings and will sound a lot better with a mic on it instead of DI.
So I guess what I'm saying is, you can pay somebody to mix this for you but even the best engineer can't turn this into anything good. Sorry.

Lightbulb

Here

Enjoy.

Notes:

* Don't take this the wrong way, but you need to take singing lessons. Breathe properly, don't restrain yourself so much, and then you'll sound much, much better and won't go off key so often. Fixing of many parts was required.

* Never include a reverb in what's supposed to be a dry track. By the way, the short background vocal track was completely unusable reverb and eq wise, so I omitted it.

* The recording setup is absolute crap. No offence, it just is. Invest in proper mic, preamp, audio interface.

* In addition to massive noise/hum, horrible distortion is everywhere. Avoid it.

Above all, improve/acquire your singing technique first. Then, improve your guitar playing. Gotta have a proper beat, and no false vocal or guitar notes.
