Thread Starter | Where to go for female fronted rock mastering...
I've just done some recording with a Rock band and was looking to get four tracks mastered. We're on a really tight budget (£30-£40 a track). But it needs to be really good. They're really dynamic with a nice big drum sound and really don't want to kill it. Not Sure where to go. Any ideas or quotes would be very useful. We're looking to get an album done early next year so really want to find somewhere good for the ep.... Also do you think its actually worth getting it done as I've heard some very dubious masters from low end studios. Cheers |

I've been talking to a few ME's lately, looking for price/quality/etc... Try Fire Phoenix Audio... Luis has got good pricing, and for the quality of what he did for me... has a lot of guys out there charging more, beat - hands down. Give him a shout and see what he can do for ya!

If you can stretch your budget further, Kevin Metcalfe at Soundmasters is a safe bet for rock music. | |

Don't think you have to get the job done in the U.K. I'm in the U.S. and have done masters from as far away as Australia. Distance doesn't matter for much these days. |
