$200-300 for full album mastering?

We're still in mixing stages, but looking for a ME that can master our album for $200-300. I understand that Pros usually charges a LOT more, but we can only afford this much so there!

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

how many tracks? how long?
can you save up? it will be worth it.

carl saff (saffmastering.com) does amazing work (he mastered my record!)
and his prices are recession proof.

good luck

It's a 10-song LP... Pop/Rock

Can't really save right now, money is vedy vedy tight. It's hard enough not to spend the money we have put toward the album. I'll look into this guy.

Yeah that may be just the ticket. It would cost just a tad over $300, and the guy sure does have a lot of credits to his name...

carl is the real deal. how he charges what he does is beyond me, but he's often booked way into the future.

i love the work he did on my last album.

I recommend Paul Miner Paul Miner or Buzzbomb Sound Labs on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Videos

He did our album for right in your price range, and was extremely easy to work with. I would definitely check him out before you make a decision.
