Thread Starter | can someone run this mix thru tracks, waves, or ozone
I need a quick master for a demo. The mix sounds good. nice and clean. I would like the bass to hit a bit more, maybe an overall blend. If you could help me out please pm me and i will send you the download link. I am trying to get it done today. Thanks guys |

| A "quick mastering....
There is no such a thing like "quick master"! This is the best way to ruin your tune...and to make people run away from the bad dynamic, muddiness, total lack of definition and transparency etc. - all things that only a "quick master" (did with "Ozone beauty preset" or similar ) can give you! If your mix is good - don't "quick master" it! If it's not - just redo it

I think he means he is in a rush to get a Master, rather than using a preset! Masters can be done in a matter of 10 minutes to an hour! depending on how good the Mix is or how the client wants his Master to sound. Eck (G) |

Some Mixes don't need any EQ, Comp, noise reduction, fades etc. done to them, so with good ears then yeah 10 minutes is possible to check over a Mix to make sure it is ready for commercial release. I was maybe being a bit extreme on my times maybe, but to check over a Mix that is 3 odd mins long then 3 times listening is plenty if it's a great Mix. ![]() Eck (G) | |
