Thread Starter | Dear gearslutz members! Kindly ask you to assist us in the question below: There is an online mastering service called Andi Vax Mastering: Seems the foto on the main page is ripped from the other studio's control (tracking) room. Looking forward for your reply asap. Thus the the approximate budget of the gear arranges up to $100K, I don't think it will be a problem to identify whose setup actually it is. |

Looks like that came from here Bohus Sound Studios Gothenburg Sweden You'd think if someone was going to rip somebody's photo they'd at least not choose the one that comes up first on a google image search for 'mastering studio' |

I have a friend in PR that helps me when people rip my site off that wrote him. He (allegedly) "e-mailed his web master about it" and was "sorry" -- As if he didn't notice that he had a photo of another studio on his site? Mother[SELF-CENSORED]ing bull[SELF-CENSORED] artist... Pi$$es me off like few other things... I'd have hoped he'd have left it up so Bohus could sue him for everything he's worth. Sorry - I don't mean to sound incredibly angry and jaded, but that kind of [SELF-CENSORED] makes me incredibly angry and jaded. If I had more time, I'd tell you how I really feel...

Your link is actually an older picture of the same room - The newer one is this one: http://www.bohussound.com/egna_bilde...ring_regie.jpg It's precisely the same shot. Makes me sick. |

Yeah John I know how you feel, my site has been hacked before rather than ripped off, and it's just so frustrating that people would bother to be so petty. I just hope nobody has been duped by the guy. I guess he'll have to drop his prices now that we can see what his real 'mastering' room looks like? It looks like a bedroom booth from the 80s! |

Hey Tobias, The pictures of your studio makes me feel warm a fuzzy all over. If it weren't for the fact that Swedish girls are ugly, I might be a little jealous. Chris.

MASTER VOLUME OPTIONS: 1) “QUIET” – all the dynamics maintained, but sounds subjectively quiet. RMS (-14dB). 2) MEDIUM VOLUME. RMS (-10dB). 3) LOUD (PUMPING). RMS (-7dB). Classic.... You get to pick your "rms" level... WTF? I'll have mine medium with a side of casio cz101, go light on the early reflection. |

I can do -7dB RMS without any pumping. But why would I? ![]() Also, last time I checked, ~ -20dB RMS average was "medium volume". J p.s. forward my contact information to all the ugly Swedish women you know. much obliged.

hello, people! sorry for a big delay with my answer. i just return from Kazantip festival. thanks for your attention to my person and looks like it is time to answer on your questions. first of all, i want to apologise, Tobias!!! The true story is sounds like that. My ANDIVAXMASTERING ver. 1.0 was hacked and i change all passwords and found a web designer to fix all holes in security. i pay to him and go to my house tour... when i come back i received a couple of ANONYMOUS mails from some person (Bohus studio guy) who called me "stupid, crazy, misarable f@ck" and so on. also i check my site and found it COMPLETELY REDESIGNED. I ask a web designer to replace a pic . so, first of all, i understand that guy from Bohus. He was pissed off. but why he sends me a couple of mails from anonymous server... may be it worth to talk first? BUT! The funniest thing also is when ANOTHER web designer was made ANDIVAXMASTERING ver. 1.0 he is also uses prohibited material. and i asked him to replace those illegal pics. Looks like i have a bad karma with all this design stuff... TOBIAS, I APOLOGIES AGAIN! And i hope you will understand. To other guys here about MASTER VOLUME OPTIONS. Why not? The good thing is some producers ask me to make a "quite" mix for dance music. Personaly, i don't think it is good for dance music. I found a -7 dB materials sounds better on 50+ kWtts systems. And it is not about nuances, peaks or something. It is simply sounds louder and much more distorted. And you must know (as good ME) - people loves distortion. All these analog warmth and fullnes nothing more as DISTORTION of a signal with an even harmonics. Also, there is a styles of music with overdrive on master (industrial and nu rave stuff). How about this? ![]() thank you for attention! |

Yo Andi...never mind all that sh*t bout *master volume options*....and is all good that ya apologize to the guy ya ripped his studio's pic off from Ya make an embarrassing situation worse by denying your culpability..its like goin' to a wake, blow a loud n' stinkin' fart then point your finger at the deceased n' tell everyone u think he did it, Ya.... ![]() So be a man, accept you did something silly and that won't do it again....end of story. Deny it, and the dogs, coyotes and wolves on this site will hound you and maul ya in the end. my2c |

| aight Andi, u say ur site was defaced while u were away, but the picture was quickly removed the same day it was reported no?? .....and who is going to come into ur site just to put the Bohus studio picture u think?? I was defaced once and the hacker left on my main page a silly message and a few shout outs to some of his hacking heroes, but that was it. This must have been a very considered hacker 'cause he made sure your new studio pic fitted perfectly (960 X 536) .....

Joe, you missunderstood me. May be it is my crappy "Borat" english ![]() I tell you again. My site was hacked and i hire a web designer to fix all holes in sequrity. When i returned from my tour i see completely re-designed site with illegal pic. In the same day i received a mail about "Bohus pic". I send a mail with a new pic to web designer and he replaced "Bohus" with the new one. ok? |

Almost every "studio" that ripped my site off claimed it was their "web designer" -- I can't even imagine, not for even a scant moment, giving the "OK" to make a site go live without first giving it at least a "once-over" for content. The *easiest* part being the photographs... Web design firms aren't typically in the business of misrepresentation of their clients - They'd be sued out of business in a heartbeat. And of all the places that I had to throw my attorney at, only one actually *had used* a web-designer. And he submitted that *his client* had supplied the photos of my space -- Which I believe, most definitively. So pardon me if I don't believe a word of this... |
