Thread Starter | Shopping for an ME
I am in the budgeting/mid tracking stages of a record currently and am trying to get ahead of the curve as far as shopping for an ME. What we do is very dynamic, Cold Playesque for lack of a better example. One concern I have is that we play with a lot of delay and spacial effects which makes for a lot of S information (think Eno) that can easily be lost on many systems. Any recommendations for an ME that can bridge that gap of pop, rock, and wide dynamic material and can really make the "space" work across listening systems? I have been in contact with Gateway and some of the other big boys, and they are simply out of our price range. So I am really looking of a mid-priced suggestion. We can't afford $4k-20k in mastering. |
