SF Bay Area Mastering Engineers?

Please suggest your favorite SF Bay Area ME's. I'm looking to try a few and see what works best for an upcoming project. Keeping it local so we can sit in and talk to the ME.

Thanks.

I use to use George Horn at Fantasy Studios when I lived in the Bay Area but that was many moons ago.

I was on a panel with Michael Romanowski years ago and highly recommend him and of course on of the best is Paul Stubblebine... from the old Rocket Labs!

Can't forget Thomas Dimuzio - Gench Studios: Mastering Services - especially for experimental music.

Best regards,

MegaSonic Sound - Bay Area Recording Studio - High Fidelity Recording, Production, Mixing and Mastering Studio for Music and Voice

oh wait- that's me!

bring a song over + we can discuss...

barring that:
it really depends on the style of music->
I have had projects mastered by Ken Lee numerous times.
I have also had Romanowski do more than a few albums.
Recently I have used John Greenham on two different projects.
Had a blast with Stubblebine mastering a compilation of acoustic guitarists.
Oh yeah + stuff for vinyl @ Fantasy with George Horn. I don't think they're open anymore? maybe he is.
They each have their own sound + strengths. Some folks get a more polite tone, some lean on it a bit harder. really style dictates where I might go for a given project.

Best Vinyl cutting is going to be by Romanowski in his room @ Stubblebine's.

I do the best CD masters though. King of the universe!
