Mastering Engineers in Dayton, OH?

Any good mastering engineers around the Dayton, OH area. I'd like someone fairly close to where I can be a little involved in some of the masters of my projects.

Got a project that will need to be mastered soon. My usual guy never calls me back, so time to take biz elsewhere.

Thanks all!

You can feel free to email me @ cookiesuttle@gmail.com if you like as well.

Brian Lucey is in Delaware; I absolutely love what he has done with the work I've sent his way.

Welcome to Magic Garden Mastering

However, I would advise that you talk with him about your vision, then let him do his job - as opposed to being overly involved. You are looking for an experienced, objective set of ears to be the final stage of quality control, right? Once I have tracked and mixed a project to my satisfaction, my objectivity is pretty much gone. Furthermore, a skilled ME will know his room and equipment to an extent that you really couldn't be expected to be of much help. Talk a bit, provide a reference, then let it go. Most ME's will do at least one revision at no extra charge, but I've never been less than amazed at Brian's work.

Just doing a Google search:
Refraze Studio
Encore Studio Inc.
1 Drop Media

I don't know anyone personally in Dayton. But I do know that Cincinnati has guys doing work as good as you'll find anywhere.

Dave Davis, The All Night Party, dave.davis@ultrainteractive.com, daved@musicmediadesign.com
Used to work for Ultrasuede Studio, QCA, and Sound Images.

Ashley Shepard, The Audio Grotto ashley@audiogrotto.com
Also use to work for QCA

Andrew Hamilton, Serif Sound Mastering, andrew@serifsound.com

I'd recommend these mastering engineers to anyone.
QCA has been a huge name in the Midwest for years, but I don't know who they have as the mastering engineer currently.
