A simple shop with Dunlaveys, 707's or similar, certified room, A killer, lush, vintage comp (shadow hills, LM2, fairchild itc..), a clean modern limiter (analog) , digital eq ok unless its got smear, and above all an engineer with a good ear and a love of dynamic range, for 15 dollars per program minute, unattended. PM me if you have this. I don't need more than that, and for that, I would have a client every 6 weeks pending a demo. I'm not making any value judgments about this.. I'm just saying, that's what my clients could afford, but if all they get is another daw compressor and a guy who read a couple of books I might as well just shop far and wide for talent at a lower rate... or do it myself. |
