Thread Starter | Online Mastering on a Shoe String. Ok, here's the story: working with a few really cool unsigned bands (tracking/mixing). The budgets are pretty tight, with the bands funding the projects, so these guys are generally pretty unaware of the mastering process. They assume thats my job. i.e they don't really have the money to shell out on a 'proper' mastering service. Not when they know I can bang them thru the L1 (hate, hate, hate it). What I would love is to find a very affordable online mastering service. Most likely a small operation that I can hopefully build a relationship with. If there was this affordable service I could try and sell it to the band that its worth a little extra money to go a long long way. Any recommendations would be much appreciated!!! JN |
