Looking for jazz mastering...

Hi everyone,
I should be finishing soon the mixing for a jazz album and need to master it. I just thought I'd give a shout out here at GS to see who's out there and up for it! It's ten tracks (jazz trio plus sax or vocals) and the budget is somewhere around 80$ a track.

Thanks!

Just want to thank everyone for their pms, I'll be checking out all your sites. I'm in the middle of another project, so it's going to be at least two weeks until I have something to do sample with. I'll get in touch then.

Thanks!

P.S. Sorry for not answering some pms, it's tricky enough to find the time to check your info!

Mastering

Did you talk to Nick Litwin @ Mastering Mansion Madrid? :::_Mastering Mansion Madrid_:::
I think attending the session and, if necessary, hasslefree revision is the way to go...

best

i got my album mastered at a place called kronier audio - although this was more folk direction, they are the only "less expensive" mastering studio i have ever been really happy with. They are based near me in germany, ask for james - he is the only engineer the other engineers do other stuff like qc or something. link here:

Kronier Audio :: Mastering : Home

apart from them, I'd say metropolis as they are one of the best in england - they seem to be the "go to" mastering place for slightly higher budget stuff IMHO.

just be careful of all the frauds... there are tons of them - if in doubt at least see what speakers they use and check them out on GS forum.

Good luck!
