Mastering Help

Hi, I'm in a Blues/Rock band, Bluestones. and have been recording and mixing the bands music myself for a recent demo. I'm getting to the mastering stage and need some help as I don't really know where to start. All I need is a rough master (or just how I should approach mastering my mix) and a explanation of how it was achieved so I can learn from it for future reference. I thought this forum would have people craving to master, purely for the love of it. Sorry if this is asking too much, I just really don't have a clue on where to start with the mastering process. If you are interested, please reply to this message and we can sort audio files out via email.

Thanks, Thomas

Hi Thomas,

I'd love to help you out, but in order to get the best results, things have to be done properly. First of all, I live in Montreal(Canada). Your files will have to be sent on a dvd by mail.
Here's a link of something I finished recently. It's not blues, but if you like what you hear, let me know!

Thanks for the reply. What if I was to upload my WAV file to an FTP server for you to download? I will have a listen to your song later this evening and get back to you, i'm sure it's great.

Thanks, Thomas
