| In Search of a Mastering Engineer Hi there! This is my first post in the Mastering Section. I'm producing/ mixing an album and am to the point where I need to start looking for a Mastering Engineer. Actually, this will probably not end up being an album but a 3-5 song demo. I've done mastering work before but feel that I am not qualified enough and don't have a reliable enough listening environment. Given the time I've spent mixing some of this stuff I'd like to get it done [mastered] well. I'm looking for someone willing to collaborate. I would prefer someone willing to work with stems. I also would cherish some mix criticism. I'll remix as much as needed to make a quality product and make said Mastering Engineer's life easier. Here is a link to one of the tracks: http://theindustry.us/audio/sugarcoatedApr24.mp3 If anyone has any immediate criticism to give I'd love to hear it. Thanks for Your Time, Rich Clarke |
