Drums--phasing cymbals at the SOURCE..mike tarsia

WARNING once you do this you commit..but you'll never get a an efx processor to sound quite the same [and if they are in addition to your overheads you can just use them when ya want]

put cymbal mikes at the height of the cymbals about 6 inches in front of them..when the cymbals are hit they will go above ..at.. and below the capsule ...again and again until they come to rest..this makes a wild phasing sound
