I want to a dubstep artist like skrillex! HELP!

Im'a dubstep artist, but nothing like skrillex! i want to make some massive, dirty bass that he does, how do i make it? any ideas? would really appreciate the help!!

The most common skrillex tricks are huge resonant low pass filters and modulating formant filters at audio rates - that "Modern Talk" Massiv preset sound. After that, loads of distortion and glitchy sample and hold plugins!

"modern talk" preset in massive? is it already on there or do i need to download it? do you know any really good dubstep drums sites too?

Look into Izotope's "stutter edit" plugin. I haven't used it myself, but I've seen it demoed and it's a really innovative, easy way to get those rapid fire stutter FX that Skrillex is so fond of. You can use it as a plug in effect and actually "play" your stutters with a MIDI keyboard.
As far as the big baselines go, you really can't go wrong with Massive. If I recall, Skrillex mentioned in an interview with DJ magazine that he uses Massive himself.

Do yourself a favour .. by the time you've worked out how to sound like said artist he will be "so last week"

Fm8 + ohmicide + vowel filter + compressor is how he makes his sounds.
