Thread Starter | Voice over knowledge Requested Hello all. I have a few questions about home voiceover work. First off, let me list the gear I will be using so you know where I stand. I have a perception 220 mic and sm58, protools 8 (smack le comp), and mbox2. My first question is with this current setup, is it even possible to produce quality work. Also if you were setting up a VO home studio, what would be your priority interms of purchasing gear. I know that the mic i eventually want is RE20. And i assume a good mic pre and external compressor should soon follow. Please let me know if you have any opinions, thoughts, and techniques (especially techs in protools 8 and plug-ins to use) as well as any opinions on home mic pre and comp gear. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so Much! Last edited by sharplikecheddar; 18th February 2010 at 03:35 AM.. Reason: grammer |
