Mbox 2 TROUBLE NEED HELP!!!!

I just bought an Mbox2 with protools LE, ignition pack, whole 9 yards.
But for some reason the Mbox 2 WONT get power from my macbook which totally messes me up! My macbook is new, so i dont think there should be any problems.. says the Mbox wont work with an Intel based mac.

Does ANYONE know how to fix this? im stressin here lol

Are you on a hub? Don't! Alternatively try another slot (if there is.) (Also in the MBOX if there is..) Always download the latest drivers. MAybe the LED is broken, did you check your cable? Good luck.

Hope you found your solution but i think this is it:

Try plugging into the USB port nearest where your power connects.

On my MBP the only port that will work with my mbox is that one.
