get it professionally done by someone who can spell
and knows about marketing

you need to list all the reasons why someone should use you and why they would want to use you

if you cant do that nobody can help you advertise

then identify who would want to use you and where you can find them located

do folks in rehearsal rooms really need your services ?
why? why you ??

I am a graphic designer and I work for a print firm.

If you are going to do this, spend the money and do it right. Done properly, you will have a powerful promotional tool. Do it on the cheap, and it'll be worthless.

Get a good photographer (not just someone with an expensive camera) to take several nice shots of your place. These can transform your flyer/brochure.

Find a graphic designer to help you, and expect to pay for their services. Free design is either rubbish, or built into the cost of the print (so not free).

Get plenty printed up and spread them around town. You could get some A3 posters made too, and put these where you can.

Cheers,

Jim
