used gear/overseas/toll fee?

i wanna by a second hand gear from overseas.
i live in austria, vienna and the seller is from canada.
does anyone have any experience?

i really would like to buy that item but i am not sure if in the end it will make sense with the toll fees.

would be great to get some infos,...
