Thread Starter | Live sessions at our studio
Hey all, We started doing little live video sessions with our old clients at the studio. We get them in to do 1-3 special tracks, like new songs or outtakes from albums or the like and post them on our blog. The idea was to do something fun and something that benefits both parties. It costs nothing for the artists and we pay a little to the guy who does the video part, so it's really our treat to them. We've done only one so far, but the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. You can see the video in our blog here: Studio Kekkonen: Kekkonen Elää! # 1 Matti Johannes Koivu Live at Studio Kekkonen This is not to spam our sessions, but rather to give a little notion that stuff like this can help visibility and a great way to use downtime. Does anybody here do sessions like this? I mean, the idea is of course recycled from Nigel Godrich's From the basement and the Live at Abbey Road things and others, but do any small independent studios do this sort of thing? Post your stuff if you do, I'm interested anyway! 6x2 |
