Originally the designer put a big ole Shure-55 up there. It did look cool but.... I felt that was a little too common, and I don't record anything with or even own a Shure-55. I kind of imagined people walking in being like "I want to use the cool looking mic on your logo!" As a side note I used to work for a vintage mic dealer and have seen many old 55s and while they always looked cool, but they never really worked out for me. As for coolest LOOKING mics..... I'd probably say the Shure-51 or the Turner 22D are contenders | |

^ And I was just actually working on a remake of your logo with the Shure 55, but seeing that you already tried it and chose the current design, I won't bother. Looks cool btw!

Our logo's pretty snappy and "memorable", rather than stating "45 A-Side Recordings"...
