People generally want to see a CV or a list of work you've done before. Your school grades are just to prove you're not a moron and any previous work is usually irrelevant unless it displays people skills or management experience. I'd recommend working for free for as many people as possible for a list of credits and then use that for your CV.

I don't want to see a CV, I want to see work ethic and if you're enthusiastic and willing to learn about sound and don't treat people like trash, myself included. You do what you're told you move up.

I'd rather have an impromptu interview out of the blue with someone as opposed to receiving an e-mail spouting interest.

I'm different though.

Most places won't even give you an interview without a CV.

Simply put down your experience as it is. If that's only home based, then that's what it is.

Sell yourself on your other qualities.

Hey guys, what is a CV? I'm assuming it is a resume of sorts, but what does it stand for?

It's basically a resume, we call it a CV over here

i don't even look at them, ok i do look at them but don't really care if you worked at the gap or starbucks
i want to know what kind of person you are, what are you interests?
what instrument do you play for and how long - what local bands are you into,
what qualities do you have that will better the business?
do you know how to solder, good at web stuff?
to sum it all up - no and sometimes yes

Agree with all that.

I'd want to know that an applicant is sincere enough and hardworking enough to take the time to put together a CV in case I might want to see it. It shows a work ethic... like you're the kind of a person who cares about doing things the right way.

Maybe attach a CD to the CV that has a representative sample of things you're proud of. Put a label on it with a fonts/colors that match the CV. Things like that matter.

Ultimately, you've got to 1) be good at what you do, and 2) be a respectful person with some social skills.

At this point, your CV (Resume) ARE your demos, and not bad at all for 24. Just make an online resume so you can submit it to anyone, and at your age, submit it to anyone who takes any interest. You have some nice "beds", but you need some vocals on top to be taken seriously.
