Thread Starter | So whats next in music?!
Dont want to sound like many of the other threads, but really, whats next in music?! Its funny because I took a step back, started working again, and coming back into the scene, and it feels like really there is no "music scene" any longer. Whats going on?! Any chance someone can give cpr to the music industry, or are we doomed and have to literally end up doing this for the 3 real myspace fans out of the 103,287 fans a band/person has lol |

There are LOADS of niche scenes. Check out the stoner rock or garage rock scenes.... very healthy indeed. There is no mainstream scene but to be honest - when has there ever been? You gotta look for it. |

its probably more difficult to find these niches once your in the working world as a teen early 20's your peers are a good resource as well as your mind be open to and having time to find out whats going on i'd agree there are some great bands in the stoner rock and garage rock areas |
