| Building a studio
I have a idea of making a isolated sound room with panels around my studio, for recording and mixing. The idea is to have 30-40 cm thick panels. 160 (high) x60(wide) panels which I will make myself!
Total size of studio is 2x 2 meters
Construction of pannels in order from outer to inner walls
wood 2cm thick
plastic rubber 5mm
3 layers of car isolation each 3cm thick
10cm thick foam bed
Studio foam(black) with spikes
Pannels surrounding the small studio as walls and roof
I don`t own my home so I need to make this portable
Should work great, but would you hear a noticable effect on the record considering drums,horns(15 tracks),strings(10 tracks) are recorded remote. Would be 30 tracks or so recorded in the studio.
I would love to hear ideas and thoughts from people!
