Dimmer switches & lights.?
Hey Guys,

I want to put a dimmer switch in the new home studio, i have planned to just use this type Maestro 150-Watt Single Pole 3-Way or Multi-Location Digital CFL LED Dimmer - White-MACL-153MR-WH at The Home Depot

I just want to know if there is anything i should know. I also wanted to place one in the booth, but these make a little high pitched noise right? If i move the switch outside the booth would these be more practical? Is there i should know about the light bulb in the booth? its a recessed light, i was thinking about changing all bulbs to LED as they are not suppose to hum.

Any info much appreciated.!

I was told by a licensed electrician that LED dimmers do NOT emit RF. Hope this helps.

Make that "good LED dimmers do NOT emit RF".
But this is a very rapidly developing field. Internal parts in the dimmers can change without notice.

Great thanks guys, does this only apply to the bulbs or does this mean i need to get a certain dimmer switch etc? sorry im not very handy at all that stuff. haha thanks guys!
