Advice on rooms with 15' ceilings...

Hey Guys, i'm hoping you can help me with some decisions. I'm moving my studio to a warehouse space (too many noise complaints in my little downtown apartment) and I have the option of 2 rooms that are available. One is 14.5'x13.3' with 15' ceilings. The other is 14.5'x9.5' also with 15' ceilings. Now i'm pretty sure these aren't optimal room dimensions, but I'm kinda stuck with one of those 2 spaces.

I'm wondering which would be easier to treat acoustically. Having more space would be nice, but i'd rather a better sounding space overall. Seems like the smaller space might be easier but Im not sure.

My second question is how does one go about treating a 15' ceiling? I won't be able to drop the ceiling anytime soon. Would a cloud work for something so high? The ceiling is basically steel with steel rafters as far as I can tell

Suggestions would be helpful as my OCD is starting to kick in and I'm beginning to have nightmares of being chased by room graphs and Owens Corning panels.

Thanks!

Go with the larger room. As far as the ceiling, yes go with a cloud.

Thanks! I went with the larger room! One more question; do you think I will need diffusion on the back wall in a small space like this or would absorption be enough?

You could use diffusion for maybe the back wall but if you want to keep some of the "life" in the room then perhaps look into a slat design in front of the bass trapping.
