How tot screw osb against c60/27 metalstud ceiling
Hello expert builders,

In my slow proces to build my home studio I'm at the point to do my ceiling. The metal stud c60/27 is hanging, glasswool is put in to the gaps. I most threads the ceiling is made of three layers gypsboard, or there is a sandwich of a layer osb, roofing material(asphalt) and a layer of gypsboard.

I tested to screw a layer osb against te metal stud and it is difficult to get the osb good against the stud. I tried differt kind of screws (Knauf diamondboard screws).

Is there a trick how to do it, what I'm doing wrong?

First, drill a hole in the OSB.

... hole needs to have the same diameter as screw's thread outer diameter.
