Studio treatment advice

So, I've got this unusual room I'd like to use as a production studio (techno and perhaps other EDM). I've been told by more experienced colleagues that it's going to be hard to make it sound good.

To keep a long story short, here are a few images and a rough sketch with measurements of the room: Studio - Imgur

Unfortunately, this is the only room available to me for use as a studio...
How should I go about treating the room to get acceptable acoustics?

Big thanks in advance

Are those tiny computer speakers your main monitors? If so, I'd start with real speakers having at least a 5-inch woofer. Then treat the room as explained here:

No, I have yet to buy a pair of decent monitors. That was going to be my second question after considering treatment options. I've been looking at the KRK RP6G2, and that's what I'll probably buy.

Thanks for the link, will check it out thoroughly.
