Hey Guys, I just got my new FURMAN PL-8 CE Power Conditioner, call me idiot but I have NO IDEA on how to connect my gear to it! I whought I should just plug them to its back part as if connectingt it straight to the wall, though the sockets are different, maybe its the stupidiest question you´ve ever read, but I have really no Idea I´ll attach a picture of its back panel, thanks a lot guys!

I think the idea is to plug all your stuff into the outlets on the rear. But why did you buy this? What AC power problems are you having?

I happen to like this kind of rack mounted Power Conditioner. For A) there is a On/Off switch in the front perfect for AC adapters, and B) depending on the area you are, power stability may vary. In my case I had a lot of broken equipment due to poor power stability. Introducing power conditioner definitively reduced breaking of my equipment.

@OP you need these kind of special power cords for your unit:

Bummer, your specific unit is a bit limited in what you can connect. I would exchange for one with standard plugs.

Sorry, I missed your question the 1st time around. Limited as you only can connect equipment that allows for these power cables. You need additional adapter for equipment that has the power cord permanently attached. Also usually there is a lot of stuff that has AC wall-warts nowadays.

I prefer these kind of plugs, offering more flexibility:

Of course that also depends on your countries' power standards.

Exactly, and that's what i did, my kRKs are connected straight up with this lind of cable to the Furman, my 01v06i, my Apollo, I even had my Mac to it but decided to connect it somewhere else and use the plug for studio gear.

Here in Germany the plugs are different, and its not easy to find one of these with normal 220 plugs on it, plus for some strange reason its more expensive
