I'm looking for advice on the construction of a semi-portable bass isolation booth for maximum soundproofing. I will mostly be cranking an svt with an 8x10 and pedals inside of it.
I'm looking for ways to maximize the stc rating of the walls for low frequencies. I'm starting with the vocalbooth.com's diamond platinum design (pentagonal shape), plus greenglue, and some auralex risers. I was wondering if you guys had any moderately lightweight construction ideas that would reduce the outside noise as much as possible, OR just tell me what you've done in the past, and how it worked for you.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
