Lydspesialisten Studio finished

Hey guys!
Iv just taken some pictures of my new studio in norway. Iv buildt everything myself. The acoustics turned out great and I have a flat bassrespons now. Mixing and mastering is a breeze and I probably work ten times faster and with a lot more confidence in this room. Just wanted to share..

Nice looking studio, I see you have used some of the Vicoustic panels for the acoustical treatment, it looks really nice !

terrible! you must pack it all up and ship it here! especially those strange monitor speakers where the bass speaker fell over on it's side and caused your ear to get stuck...

seriously - very nice work!

Yeah.. The vicoustic didnt do any good on the low end so I made some serious basstraps in frames and blended the front with the nice looking vicoustic.

ohh The cloud.. That thing gave me a couple of new gray hairs.. Filled with 40cm heavy basstraps and about 200kg I had a hard time getting it in the sweetspot..

I have been to Oslo on a business trip this summer. I actually come to Oslo occasionally (like once every 2-3 years).

Congratulation!

Looks good, Excellent job.
Vicoustic has some good option for low frequency as Super Bass Extreme.
However, building your own tuned bass trap to the room it´s always the best.

Thanks Jorge! I had to tune the traps to get a mastering-grade listening area. The Vicoustic products would probably do a good job but for the amount I needed it would be to expensive compared to building them myself.
Im very happy with the once I bought though.

Nice, David, congrats!

Could you share some information about the console; is it custom made?

Thanks!
I designed the console myself. Iv tried to create a console with minimum reflections based on the mirror technique .All the angles are carefully chosen to direct reflected sound lower than my ear. Every parallel surface is carved out with random holes to create more of a diffusoreffect.

When measuring the usual 2-300hz , 7-800hz desk buildup is much improved. Im very happy with the result.
Maybe i should get this console in production
