Best material for control room wall

Hello I am pretty much retrofitting my current rehearsal space with a control room wall to separate it into two rooms. What is the best material to soundproof it as much as possible. Thank you.

The cheapest way to add some mass to the wall is by using multiple layers of drywall. Green Glue can be used to provide a little extra isolation via constrained layer dampening. Make sure the partition is insulated also. Regular fluffy insulation works great. Make sure all cavities are sealed well.

Where on earth are you? In different parts of the world different suitable materials are cheaper. Concrete block and drywall are popular depending on local price.
