Make the room smaller if it is rectangular?
Hi.

If you have a rectangular room to use as a control room, would it be better to make it smaller to get a better relationship between hight, width and length?

My room is:

Width 15 feet
Length 14 feet
Height 9 feet

Ratios are important, but so is total size. I would definitely not make that room smaller for any reason.

How do you "rate" my room size wise?

I guess we are talking basstraps, basstraps, basstraps, get rid of early reflection points on the side walls and above the the listening position. On the back wall I am not sure....

Your room is fine. Yes, plenty of bass traps and reflection absorbers where needed. It sounds like you know what to do.
