One panel left: rear wall or front wall?

I actually only have four absorption panels: two for side walls reflections (24'' x 32''), one for cloud (16'' x 48'') and another for... I don't know (16'' x 48''). So my question is, should I:

1. Place the panel against the wall behind the monitors (1 foot from the monitors).
2. Place the panel against the wall facing the monitors (11 feet from my listening position).
3. Do something else.

Thanks!

Why not try them both and see what brings the best results?

I would put the extra one on the ceiling. I always recommend covering a good amount in that area.

So in your opinion Glenn, I should only cover side walls and make a big cloud? Will I notice a big difference?

I am not sure you will notice a "big" difference but you should notice it.

But why a 16'' cloud will not work?

LEDE / RFZ ideas applied to a critical listening room

See post #34 for my setup. Dont have real pics yet. But I can tell you they are made of 2" OC703 with 6-12" of R19 above that (depending on available space).

Ive already described its size. Just imagine it 85" above the triangle created by the listening position and the 2 speakers (its about 2' bigger in each direction). Thats roughly it.

As far as why? Because my ETC measurements continued to show unwanted ceiling reflections until I made it that big.
