bass traps absorbers choosing the right materials

hello guys i am planing to treat my room with some bass traps and absorbers. but dont know what density is right for what use. here is some data sheet.

high density cost more $ so i am looking for 2 solutions. the best one and the good results / good price. here are some data sheets

For bass absorption, the thicker and lighter the better. @8" use 2 layers of Safe N Sound. Thicker use regular insulation.

If you have:

2" - use OC705

4" - use OC703

8" - 2" OC 703 with 6" R19 behind (or what avare said)

12"+ - use R19/R30

on these graphs isnt it 150 kg the best for bass absortion??

There is no one material or weight that is ideal for bass traps in all situations. Not even close really. It all depends on how much depth you have and how low your trying to absorb.

what about 8 cm of rockwool what density do u think would be the best. i have a pair of adam p22a they cant go lower than 38 hz. i dont know what freq needs most treatment yet since i haven't move there yet and i havent done my tests yet.

I would do your tests first, then see what your needs are before you just put something you already have up someplace and hope it helps.
