| specific problem with concrete room(s)

We are on the second floor of a mostly concrete building.
As you can see, we have two rehearsing rooms. They will be fully packed with drumkits, amps, you name it.
My worries concern the leakage to whatever is below us and the business area to the right. I don't know if the big hallway and staircase area and the other unused rooms you can see (toilets, storage rooms) actually help to keep the sound within our area, or not.
I am planning to lay down some carpet on the floor and maybe stuff the right side of the walls with thick acoustic material. We are at the end of the building so we don't have to worry about what's going on on the left.
So my first and most important question: Is the big hallway and staircase going to help to keep most of the sound *locked*?
