What equipment will i need to record vocals?

I am looking on starting up my own home recording studio in a room at home to make my own songs and record some friends, what recording eqiupment will i need to record good vocal tracks?

I have a laptop and Cubase Elements 6.

I am looking on spending up too 500 pounds...
