A tip for acoustics slutz

Hi chaps,

Just wanted to share my experience with hanging acoustic panels. Mine are from GIK. I didn't have the original wire supplied from GIK but I found thin rope (recommended for nautical applications) to be REALLY useful. I found that picture wire was too difficult to keep readjusting.

And that's all Not much to say, but I thought it might be helpful for others

Oh, and to Glenn and Bryan: the products are great; they've made a huge difference, particularly to stereo imaging

Thin rope is a great idea. I have also used loose chain which you just count the links needed to hang.
Glad to hear things are working out for you and please let us know if you have any questions we can help you with.

I thought about using chain too.

Things are working out great. They've been great for both the tracking and mixing side.

I've still not hung all the panels yet. Will be checking soon with someone if the ceiling in use is capable. I seem to think it is but I've been told to check it first (family )
