I know it's not cheap, but this expensive?

Hello all!

I'm building a small studio (a small studio indeed!), and I have just received a quote on my HVAC system.

My entire studio length is 11m x 3.6m (36' x 11.81') and will be divided in to three rooms: ISO booth, control room and tracking room.

Here's the quote:

Total: £13'796.40 ($21'549.48).

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't going to hand over a £50 pound note and expect change! I was expecting it to be in the thousands mark. Is this a fair price in the UK and does it reflect what is normally paid considering the studio size?

Regards,

Rock.

PS. I have also included the break down and prices incase you want to see it.

Quite Breakdown:

Heating/Cooling and Ventilation -
The system will comprise of a ducted heating/cooling unit located in a position to be advised, ducted to 3 no. Studio areas within the building. The system will also incorporate a heat recovery unit that will deliver fresh air to the 3 no. Areas and extract air away. Any air extraction will be passed through a heat exchange plate in the heat recovery unit and heat extracted will be ‘recycled’. The system comprises of the installation of all units, ductwork, silencers and ceiling grilles inc commissioning. Both air conditioning and ventilation systems will be ducted not wall mounted units. The system will be controlled by a central controller however individual areas may not be set with this system and the main control room will act as ‘master’ for all other areas. All areas will be subject to the same air changes and heating/cooling levels. Power supplies allowed in electrical price. The price includes the supply of all materials and installation.
